Freshman principal Kate Piffel poses with the flyer for the AP Fair. The AP Fair will be taking place on Wed., Jan. 14 during the Common Ground. “It’s going to be in the cafeteria and essentially, with this being the first year, we are kind of playing it by ear but we are going to set up tables all around the room and have kids walk around. It’s going to be very much like a career or college fair atmosphere,” Piffel said.

"Playing a velociraptor was really weird but funny. It was hard to not break character. I mean I walk like that all the time so I was pretty comfortable with it," Kavanaugh said.

Freshman Nehemiah Colyer sprints at a boys track on the track. Colyer ran the 4x4 and the 300 meter hurdles this season. “I would say my biggest accomplishments are actually being able to run on varsity since not many freshman are actually able to do that. It feels pretty cool and kids stop me in the hallway and ask me about it but I try not to make a big deal about it and stay humble,” Colyer said. “I ran track because I want to stay in shape and to get faster for football.”

She had to run the 5K through a corn maze while holding a twelve pound pumpkin. “While I am running I just think to myself that there are women giving birth right now and all I have to do is run. Also, don’t eat a lot before you run; that is never a good idea,” Wind said.
