“Over the summer, I thought that I should start being more proactive about what I want to do in the future, [because] ever since I was a young kid, I’ve always known that I wanted to be a lawyer. I thought I would bring my idea to West [by starting] the [Law and Legal] club. We all have the same aspirations, and even if [people] aren’t interested [in law], this club is just an area for people to come and learn. We’ve been planning like crazy by reaching out to organizations, such as [planned] speakers, mock trials, and watching debates of court cases. I really love that [this club] is [going to] be a group of people coming together [and] talking about something that [they’re] interested in.
