At a 2014 Parkway Alumni Association day at the Cardinals game, retired Principal Al Burr throws out the games first pitch for Parkway Family Day at the ballpark. It was the last home game of the season. Hundreds of former students and colleagues flew in from all over the country to cheer him on, including Stone Phillips even came. Al remembered the names of every single person, even after not seeing many of them for 30+ years, Parkway Alumni Association Director Leah McCoy said.
