Grand Champion team placed first in their division and had the best score overall of all high school teams competing at the 11th/12th grade level. Students are seniors Andrew Smith, Shalini Subbarao, Raveena Boodram, Caleb Ki, Jaron Ma, Andrew George, Tatsumi Yanaba and junior Tony Mansicalco.  Coaches are science teachers Janice Keller and Ellen Wilke.  Ma and Ki were members of last year's winning team that went on to place first in the nation in their division.
