Cooking chocolate-chip pancakes, junior Lexi Heacock prepares her first kitchen assignment in Pro Start I. Students worked in groups of four on the assignment. “The hardest part was making sure they were cooked all the way through,” Heacock said. “When I saw that they were bubbling I was like ‘oh shoot I don’t know if they’re ready yet’.”
