![Racing in multiple competitions during a track meet April 23, senior Clara Plass won the 100-meter dash on the varsity girls track team. As captain of the team, Plass indulged in the legacy of leading her team by running warm-ups and assisting the coaches. “I’ve seen [my teammates] grow so much I don't think they realize how much they've grown and they need to give themself credit,” Plass said. “They teach me how to be a better leader [and] I hope to leave with the legacy of cheering on my team and pushing them to be the best they can be.”](https://pwestpathfinder.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/DSC_0381-e1619547074141-600x900.jpg)

So far, Marks has written posts on insomnia, the benefits of journaling and the importance of self-help. “Before you can help other people you need to learn about yourself. I've found a lot of value sitting down and reminding myself of reality [through journaling],” Marks said. “I'm very blessed, and as much as school sucks, all your problems are so impermanent. When you look back, you're not gonna remember how hard this test was or this paper you wrote you're just gonna remember the people that you're with and how you felt.
