In honor of St. Louis’ 250th Birthday, 250 fiberglass cakes will be placed all over St. Louis on Feb. 14-16. Each location is a unique component that has made St. Louis’ past, present, and future. “My dad works at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel and it was one of the default locations for the cakes. He offered me the opportunity to decorate the cake and I said yes. It took me two to three days to finish the sketch," senior Kayla Smith said.
