Reading sheet music in Guitar 1, junior Neiyo Hagens strums along to various chords and melodies, working to become proficient in the instrument. Though he only began learning guitar this year, Hagens’ long standing passion for making music and his friends’ support led him to give it a try. “My friend [junior] Jonah Wool plays guitar, and I loved the sound of [it], and wanted to learn how to play it. I’ve been making my own music for about three years now, so I would definitely like to learn how to incorporate [guitar] into my music that I make personally,” Hagens said.
