After successfully spinning senior Chris Bass, senior Lance Griffith and Bass celebrate. The duo reenacted the “Time of My Life” dance from “Dirty Dancing” as their talent. “I couldn’t have been happier with the whole thing. I feel like we each did our part exceptionally well,” Bass said. “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.”

Senior Lance Griffith grins at the packed auditorium after being crowned ‘Mr. Longhorn.’ For the ‘talent’ portion of the show, Griffith partnered with senior Chris Bass and reenacted the iconic lift scene from Dirty Dancing. “It was extremely exciting and rewarding to see my hard work preparing for the event pay off, I wanted my performance to be really good and I'm happy people liked it,” Griffith said. “Chris and I spent a lot of time working on the dance and had an amazing time performing it. All the moves went right and the crowd got really into it, it was quite a unique experience.”
