Eyes on the music, sophomore Brooke Wyatt plays the clarinet on Feb. 25 at the Parkway West Pre-Festival concert. The band played their first piece, “Choose Joy,” and were getting it ready for their future contest. “[Band] has taught me to never give up and make sure that [music] pieces are always the best they can be. We were preparing for [this moment] for a couple of months, and I thought we played really well,” Wyatt said.
