The varsity water polo teams celebrates winning the Founders Cup, a tournament hosted by Ladue High School April 6. The team competed against five other teams, ultimately defeating Ladue 20-2 for the title. In addition, the varsity water polo team placed second at state. “Winning the Founders Cup was definitely a highlight of the season. The weeks prior, we were having trouble running a smooth offense, but during this tournament, we ‘clicked’ and figured things out. In the final game, there was a lot of energy, and we played cohesively, which led us to the win,” sophomore McKay Morgan said.
