Using recyclables and tape, juniors Nicole Wang and Stephanie Ingberg build an oven in Biotech Engineering. They used a shoe box to create an oven that was solar powered, and baked chocolate chip cookies. “It’s not a usual class,” Ingberg said. “It’s about using engineering to help people who don’t have as much as we do, and I think that’s really interesting. I couldn’t see a future in engineering, but I like the aspect of helping people.”
