On Saturday Feb. 7, juniors Shannon Anderson, Katie Hornsby, Mary Galkowski, Vericia Pearson and Grace Miller collect tickets at the entrance to the Seniors vs. Faculty basketball game. Half of the proceeds collected will be used to continue training room maintenance while the other half will be donated to the Joshua Chamberlain Society. Although the game began at 7 p.m., most of the volunteers arrived around 5 p.m. to begin decorating the gymnasium with balloons, streamers and other embellishments. “We signed up by going to SignUpGenius and picking what we wanted to do, so it was really easy [to volunteer]. It was really hectic when everyone showed up at once, but it was cool to see everything run so smoothly,” Anderson said.
