Wearing perception goggles, junior Norah Freed attempts to throw a tennis ball into a trash can. In AP psychology, students learned about the human senses and perception and how they could be altered. “When I put on the goggles, everything looked rainbow and there were blindspots everywhere. If the tennis ball was to the right, I reached to the left,” Freed said. “It was so funny watching everyone try to get the ball in the trash can. Nobody was even close.”

Freshmen Elle Rotter and Sami Eveland have a conversation during ASL club’s Friendsgiving meeting. The club had pizza and soda while chatting and playing games. “I enjoy visiting ASL club and talking to my friends,” Eveland said. “I’ve met some cool new people who are interested in ASL just like me.”

Logan College, and was her second time competing at this competition. “The competition was one of the bigger ones our team had been to,” DeYoung said. “I remember putting on a heating pad after I danced because my back pain had been so bad.”
