“What inspires you the most?”
Freshman Nehemiah Colyer sprints at a boys track on the track. Colyer ran the 4x4 and the 300 meter hurdles this season. “I would say my biggest accomplishments are actually being able to run on varsity since not many freshman are actually able to do that. It feels pretty cool and kids stop me in the hallway and ask me about it but I try not to make a big deal about it and stay humble,” Colyer said. “I ran track because I want to stay in shape and to get faster for football.”

The varsity girls track distance medley is cooling down after breaking the record at the annual Washington Relay meet. The team consists of junior Maddy Brown, sophomore Abby Allgeyer, sophomore Rachel Osborne and freshman Rikita Saunders and also pictured is sophomore Lindsey Stucki. “It was a pretty big deal because we tried to break the records in other events but missed it by one or two seconds each so it was nice to end on that note. It was a great meet; I loved it” Allgeyer said.
