Looking for something to spice up boring Crocs? Freshman Jariyah McCalister takes her Croc fashion seriously. She has collected hundreds of Croc pins — also known as Jibbitz — so far of varying colors, shapes and sizes.

“They make your shoe[s] look more vibrant. I probably have 500 to 700 [pins]. I don’t put them [all] on my Crocs. I usually put them up — I have a tree full of Croc pins. I change my Croc pendants out every three months so I don’t get bored,” McCalister said.

McCalister started collecting Croc pins after she saw a girl on TikTok with new croc pins in seventh grade. Since then, she has developed a system for a properly styled Croc.

“[Do] not [use] enough to fill up the whole [shoe]. [You should] probably [fill] half of it and make sure it’s spaced out—one in the middle, some in the corner. Just a little bit, [not enough] to flip the whole thing,” McCalister said.
