“I’m motivated to be the best version of myself. I’ve done gymnastics for seven years, and I’ve done cheer for two years. [I cheer] six days a week [for the] Ice All Stars Frozen 4. Tumbling [makes me most happy.] After my junior year, I want to move to Georgia to try out for a team called [the] Stingrays All-Star. The following year I want to move to Miami to be on a team called TGLC Top Gun, and then I want to cheer in college at Alabama. Cheer makes me happy. [To reach my goals, I am going to] focus on myself and the goals and not have distractions so that I can achieve those goals.” – Ella Wheeler, 9

I am a freshman and this is my first year on staff. When I’m not in school, I am a competitive gymnast. I have been doing gymnastics ever since I was little and it has had such a huge impact on my life. I am also a varsity cheerleader and have been doing cheer from the start of middle school. Whenever I am stressed out or bored, I draw for fun because it makes me feel relaxed and it’s a hobby I really enjoy.
