Sarah Reifschneider
Name: Sarah Reifschneider
Grade: 11
Role: Philanthropy Chair
Why did you join the Longhorn Council?
I joined LoCo because it was a great way to get more involved with what goes on behind the scenes at West. As the philanthropy chair, I also felt it would allow me to connect with St. Louis by getting to know a local non-profit!
What event are you most looking forward to planning?
Homecoming is usually our busiest time [of] the year. My job is to stay in touch with our chosen philanthropy, which this year it’s Chad’s coalition, so it’s been fun to kind of get to know the representatives from there and just get to know them better as a nonprofit.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I’m in NHS and Rho Kappa. I’m in the Feminist club, Thirst Projects, and volunteer with non-profits and LoCo.
What is your favorite TV Show?
I liked the show “Johnny Test” as a kid. It was like a Cartoon Network thing. I’m watching “Brooklyn 99” now. It’s funny.
Who is your favorite musician?
I like too many music genres. Probably Carol Kane.
What are you the most passionate about?
I like music. I’m in an orchestra group [inside and] outside of school. I play the cello.
What is something the Student Body should know about you?
LoCo is way more accessible than you think. If you need anything like anything from us, you can always reach out.
