Smashing a pie into Assistant Principal Mario Pupillo’s face, sophomore Hillary Herrera celebrates Pie Day with her classmates. Each year Key Club holds a Cash for Cancer fundraiser for Friends of Kids With Cancer. “When they called my name to pie Mr. Pupillo in the face my heart stopped,” Herrera said. “All my friends were cheering for me, and he gave me a high-five afterwards. It’s such a crazy and bizarre thing to do, so I’m really happy I got to pie my principal in the face.”
