Pathfinder: How would you like people to remember you for who you are?
Butler: I would like people to remember me for my kindness and my personal accomplishments on the football team like earning my varsity letter, and winning the district title last year.
What coach has had a big impact on your life?
The coach that has had a big impact on me is Coach Duncan because he taught me that there is more to life than just football. Duncan has exemplified this by describing situations where you might be in life, and taught me to take the high road when making a decision in the moment.
Name one of your happiest memories?
After we won the district title last year in football was a happy moment for me.
What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about football. I had success when winning districts and good times overall playing this sport. The team drove my passion.
What are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful for my friends, coaches and family because they have pushed and motivated me by positive reinforcement. The coaches saying good effort or good touchdown. Motivation helps me so I could be the best athlete.
Can you tell me about an important life lesson that you’ve learned?
The most important life lesson I have learned is treat others the way you want to be treated, and to do your best. These life lessons have helped me be a good teammate, role model and a good student.
