With an effort to finish, senior Lydia Roseman swims 100 yard backstroke at the end of the Yellow Pool Conference Finals. Between the preliminary swim Tuesday, Feb. 4 and finals Thursday, Feb. 6, Roseman dropped a combined 3.44 seconds in this event. “It was just a really great way for me to finish off my season because I accomplished way more than I thought I would. I was hoping for just a small time drop, but then I ended up dropping a significant amount,” Roseman said.

Girls Swim and Dive take on one of the fastest conferences in the state of Missouri, placing 6th overall at Kirkwood High School Feb. 6. 

Senior Nayeon Ryu organizes a bin of donations. Donations were dropped off starting Jan. 21. “This is an important issue we are tackling because it isn’t normally talked about in high school,” Ryu said. “This is because many of us are privileged enough to have easy access to these products.”

Editor In Chief Sabrina Bohn shows the group of editors an idea for the week on her laptop at an editorial board meeting on Friday mornings. Bohn then edits the agenda for the week according to what the group needs to get done that weekend or the next week, by managing and overseeing the workload. "I work in class everyday–I’m a cadet teacher for Klevens, and I take CJ4–and the editorial board meets every Friday morning. I also work at home when I need to. Newspaper is a big time commitment, but since I really enjoy it, it doesn’t feel hard or even like other school work at all," Bohn said.
