In Convergence Journalism class, sophomores Jordan Scales and Thomas Bruns watch the Inauguration Wednesday, Jan. 20. Despite it being President Joe Biden's inauguration, many viewers focused on Bernie Sanders' mittens. “When I heard about the inauguration I didn’t really care too much about it,” Scales said. “I didn’t have any favorite parts of it because I don’t really care about politics. Bernie Sanders' mittens looked pretty good though.”

However, due to many road closures for the Inauguration parade, the group had to walk three miles to get to the metro.  “We walked almost 13 miles the second day we were there, so we walked a half marathon,” senior Ann Rapp said. “That was definitely the most difficult part of the trip.”
