The Jazz Choir performs at the Fall Concert. The Jazz Choir will also be performing at the Chesterfield Barnes and Noble at 7p.m. on Dec. 12. “We need money. This is a great money raiser. It promotes reading and helps the Jazz Choir. I think one of the goals of Mr. Parrish is to help the group perform more and get more experience. It is an opportunity for the students to perform in front of a non-student audience,” librarian Mary Ann McFarland said.

Standing in a line on the crosswalk, seniors Hillary Alden, Jason Erwin and Maddy Quoss cheer while throwing lei’s to the incoming freshmen on the first day of school. The Monday night before the first day of school, about 104 seniors camped out in the parking lot starting at 11pm. “Seeing all the freshmen react to the seniors cheering them on really made me feel old. I remember being a freshman and how terrified I was of high school, but seeing all the seniors clap for me made me feel right at home,” Erwin said.
