![Senior Kyle Schultz awaits the homecoming pep rally performance. Rallies and halftime performances helped Schultz in preparation for the series of Bands of America Honor Band performances. “Performing in front of hundreds of people is normal to me now. When I was a freshman in color guard, I would get really nervous, but now there's nothing better than being able to show off what we’ve worked on and everyone gets a kick out of it,” Schultz said. “I’m so used to playing when it’s loud at big school events, so when I’m in the quiet setting of a competition it feels a lot more tense.” [Photo courtesy of Sophia Johnson]](https://pwestpathfinder.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/unnamed-16-e1636983592976.jpg)

Manna picked out the music they played for their party. “My favorite thing was the feeling of being there,” Manna said. “It kind of felt like it was a world away because we had school the next day [and] we were escaping from that.”](https://pwestpathfinder.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/AmbalBSept2-copy-e1636131243867-900x611.jpg)

![Senior Laurel Rakers and her family hosted a fundraiser to raise money for ALS tests and experiments to help find a cure. Their goal was to raise over $105,000 and they surpassed it. “[Reaching our goal] was amazing. We had an amazing turnout this year and it means so much to me and my family that all of these people come to support and help my dad,” Laurel said. “It’s honestly insane how many people come and support us each year.”](https://pwestpathfinder.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/rakers-e1635796561822-900x837.jpeg)
