Three Indian dishes to add to your food bucket list

Chaat food is a great place to begin your Indian cuisine journey. Similar to hors d’oeuvres, it is often served from food stalls or food trucks in India. Street side stalls, like food trucks, are extremely clean, and the food they produce bursts with flavor, texture and culture similar. They are also inexpensive – you can get a four-person chaat meal for under a dollar on the streets of India, and you help the economy by supporting small businesses.

Today, my reviewer is sophomore Sawyer Ladd, hand-picked for this job for his unalterable pickiness with food. Ladd’s favorite foods include peanut butter and white bread and grapes, among other items.

South Asian Samosas usually consist of a potato or chickpea filling surrounded in a bread crust, and shaped like a triangle.
