FaceTiming her grandma who lives in Las Vegas, senior Eva Phillips and her father celebrate Thanksgiving virtually on Nov. 26. Normally, Phillips and her family would have the annual feast with extended family; but, due to the pandemic this year, they decided to stay home and celebrate over the internet. βIt was calm. I liked the quiet of it,β Phillips said. βI almost liked it more than doing a huge Thanksgiving. I don’t know if I’d call it the full Thanksgiving experience, but I still enjoyed it.β
