Navigating an obstacle course, sophomores and JV field hockey players Haley Keller and Rishita Nannapaneni work together to compete against their teammates in a bonding exercise. In preparation for their first game of the season Aug. 24, both the JV and Varsity teams got together for their annual Pasta Night dinner at their Head Coach Dawn Callahan’s house. “I really wanted to win because I’m really competitive, but it was hard with those eclipse glasses on,” Nannapaneni said. “I loved bonding with the team. In order to play good as a team, you have to be connected outside of the game because then you know you can rely on them to be there for you in the game and in real life.”
