Raising her hand to pose a statement during the annual Civitas Challenge Model United Nations Session, junior Naomi Kodama sits with junior Carol Moseley, the leader of the club. During the conference on March 28, the Model United Nations club represented both Botswana and Sierra Leone. Besides Kodama and Moseley, juniors Anthony Carroll and Mahnoor Malik attended the conference which replicated a real world relations meeting. “The March general assembly went better than the one in November because it was more personal,” said Malik. “Being aware of the issue is half the battle and if we can do that, we can surely go to more progressive things like youth such as Malala Yousafzai.”
