Creating a fashion sketchbook from old magazines, seniors Taylor Scott, Karen Brown, and Sophie Starr work on a yearlong Fashion Merchandising assignment. Through the project, the students learned aspects of style, including availability and location. “The idea was to discover what would be acceptable to wear in St. Louis. Surprisingly, I’ve learned that we can wear almost anything where we live. Only a few things, like wearing a swimsuit on the streets, would seem out of place,” Scott said.
