In pouring rain, freezing snow or dazzling sunshine, it seems that running never stops for West’s cross country athletes, even in the off-season.
The varsity racers gather before their race to discuss strategies. “I know we’ve swept the last two, but there may have been more. I do know that out the nine years we’ve done this, our varsity team has won seven times. The only two times we didn’t win, we were beaten by our rival, Central,” head coach Charlie Cutelli said.
