Freshmen Alex Volz wears a Pokémon hat everyday. “I went to West County mall one time and I picked it out because I got my little brother into Pokémon and it means a lot to him that I’m trying to show my support through my boisterous hat wearing,” he said. As well as supporting his brother, Volz wears his hat to make people positive. “It makes people smile more often than not, and I get a lot of positive comments. People ask me about it all the time. There is actually a lady who times herself everyday when she needs to get to school, based off of me and my hat, when I walk to school every morning.”
