In Patrick Mooney’s sixth hour Precalculus class, junior Zoe Goff and sophomore Mikayla Balduff listen and take notes, as Mooney describes the eccentricities of conics and circles. While Precalculus is a senior class, Balduff was able to be apart of the class due to her participation in Mosaics Academy, where she took Algebra I and Geometry in middle school. “I am hoping to have a career that would have to do with Engineering, so that would be something that would take a lot of math skills,” Balduff said.
