In order to complete her Advanced 3D Studio Art project, senior Kelly Schreiber starts by cutting out tracing paper to shape her clay. To give herself a challenge, Schreiber chose to replicate a telephone out of clay in the style of trompe l’oeil, a form of 3D realism. “Since this is a higher level class, I wanted to do a project that would allow me to pursue new challenges and become a better artist,” Schreiber said.
