“The Bobby Bones Show” turns country

Monday morning ritual: get up, get dressed, turn on 93.7 The Bull and listen to Mason and Remy say “What’s Awesome” with their weekend. If you are an avid Bull listener, Monday morning’s broadcast probably sounded different.

On Feb. 4, it was announced that “The Bobby Bones Show,” originally based out of Austin, TX, was moving to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and switch from a mainstream top-40 music show to a national country show. Because this show is syndicated via Premiere Radio Networks, St. Louisian country fans can listen to “The Bobby Bones Show” from 5a.m.-9a.m. on weekday mornings.

No fear, Mason and Remy fans. This switch only changed the order of who is on-air. Following “The Bobby Bones Show” will be Billy Greenwood from 9a.m.-11a.m., Dusty from 11a.m.-2p.m., Mason and Remy on your way home from school from 2p.m.-7p.m., and Annie on-air until midnight.

“I like how Mason and Remy moved to the afternoon because now I can listen to them at work,” senior Susie Watson said. “The morning show has so many commercials now, and they’re all Bobby Bones commercials.”
