Every semester Crime and Law teacher, Nancy Sachletben, holds a mock trial where her students participate in sentencing a murder suspect. Heated trials draw attention to the class and bring new students every year. This year, Crime and Law students chose between roles including witnesses, prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, the defendant and members of the jury.
Fighting for the defendant, junior Hope Green gives the opening statements and questions the witnesses during the Mr. Percy mock trial.
