“[Music] was a big part of my dad's life. And I think it's more part of my life since my dad passed away. It’s been a year since [he] passed away, but we used to go to concerts. We saw The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Metallica. [My father’s death] opened my eyes a lot," junior Halie Klase said. "I feel like people take their parents for granted, and they get mad at their parents and call their parents ‘stupid’. Really, when it's gone, you regret that you didn't enjoy it while it lasted.”
