Giving high fives, the varsity team huddles at home base to encourage one another before taking the field at a game against Clayton on Sept. 7. Varsity finished the season with 12 wins and two loses. “I think we are very close knit compared to other sports and just being around one another another year just really helped us function better as a team unit,” junior Lauren Horn said.
