On Sunday, Oct. 16, St. Louis University is hosting a National College Fair in the Simon Recreation Center, from 1-4 p.m.. Admission representatives from over 200 colleges will be present, from Villanova University in Pennsylvania to University of California-Berkeley. The fair is sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), which connects college admission representatives to high school counselors to better aid students in applying for colleges.
“NACAC has sponsored a National College Fair for the last several years, it is free, it allows students and parents to interact with admission representatives from all over the country. At gotocollegefairs.com you can register for the college fair, and they give you a barcode that you take with you to the fair, so that when you meet with college reps or different organizations or schools, they can scan your barcode and get all of your information, if you want them to have it,” counselor Jen McLane said.
