On Oct. 29 and 30 the marching band’s annual craft fair will feature breakfast from Chris’ Cakes, famous for flipping pancakes for people to catch on their plates. Along with the breakfast, there will be vendor booths, a bake sale and a book sale. Tickets for the breakfast are on sale today and can be purchased through any marching band or color guard member, $8 for adults and $5 for children age 5-12. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards the band’s various expenses, including competitions, transportation and building props.
“Chris’ Cakes bring their griddles and you can have a chance to catch pancakes when they make them. It’s a really fun event because I like to watch people try to catch their pancakes; it’s always funny because people want to catch other things too, like sausage and bacon, which we have sometimes. Oh, and there’s Tang!” freshman Vickey Karl said.
