Now through Sept. 17 students can purchase homecoming corsages and boutonnieres from Zengel Flowers and Gifts at the corner of Clayton and Baxter to support the Class of 2017 Graduation Lock-In.
“Zengel flowers are always really pretty and not as heavy as other corsages and boutonnieres,” senior Sarah Ayres said.
10 percent of a corsage or boutonniere purchase at Zengel’s with the mention of “West” at the time of purchase will be donated to the Lock-In. Corsages cost $25 and boutonnieres cost $10.
Ayres’ mother Laura Dierberg-Ayres organized the fundraiser after talking with family friends that own the shop.
Purchases may be picked up on Sept. 16 during store hours, or Sept. 17 before 1 pm. Call 636-394-6903 or stop by from 9-5 pm now through Friday to make a purchase. Flyers about the fundraiser are available in grade-level principal offices.
