Justin Timberlake brought the 20/20 experience to St. Louis on Tues. Nov. 19 at the Scottrade Center. The smooth performer kicked off his U.S. tour at the Barclays Center on Nov. 6 making it his first of 69 dates before ending in July of 2014.
Starting his performance off with “Pusher Love Girl,” JT brought his charm to the crowd by showing off his talented dance moves. Using his microphone stand as a dancing partner at some points, JT and his six back up dancers exemplified a flirty performance.
“Justin Timberlake is a great performer. He captured the crowd with his charm and knew how to keep us entertained,” senior Ali Wotruba said.
To go along with the stylish night, Timberlake and his band wore outfits designed by Tom Ford. JT rocked a white dinner jacket while the band wore black suits. Even the three girl back up dancers were dressed in suits and ties. Timberlakes’ hair was also slicked back to complete the classic look.
After performing almost 30 songs from his various albums, the concert ended after three hours. To break up the time, there was a 15-minute intermission. Timberlake told the crowd that he was “32 and needed a break.”
One of the most memorable features of the night was Timberlake and his back up dancers ascending on a moving stage.
“He came really close to us and at one point he was right above me. It was really cool how he came in touch with all of his fans in the room,” senior Kelsey Zurweller said.
