On Saturday May 4, the Varsity and JV soccer teams volunteered for The Special Needs Soccer Association (SPENSA).
“We helped kids play soccer, and hung out with all these kids, and we all had a lot of fun,” freshmen Lily Briscoe said.
SPENSA lets kids ages 5-21 experience the fun of playing soccer, who usually do not have a place in traditional youth soccer associations.
“This was an incredibly moving experience and our kids did and amazing job representing Parkway West in a positive light,” Head Coach Annie Wayland said.
