Over the month of April, administration asked that students, parents and teachers vote on whether or not to change the dates of graduation.
“I proposed the idea because I was getting calls from parents who had collegiate graduations the same day,” Principal Dr. Jeremy Mitchell said.
The proposed dates were to change graduation to a Tuesday/Wednesday evening Baccalaureate/Graduation set up instead of the traditional Friday/Saturday set up.
In regards of the graduation change, teachers voted exactly 50/50. 67% of parents voted to keep it the same, as well as 77% of the student body.
Therefore, Graduation dates will remain the same.
