Mission Improvable is hitting the stage this Thursday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show consists of the Improv team members playing games and taking on different characters without scripts.
“It’s improv so it’s all unexpected. Each show we learn new things about everyone on the team,” junior Yasmin Younis said.
The team consist of Yvette Lu, Jaron Ma, Mary Lumley, JD Lister, Annie Schuver, Dakota Payne, Meredith Parsons, Greg Robson, Marilyn Ransin, Keith Taveras, Jason Erwin, Elia Chahoud, Yasmin Younis, Tristan Johnson, Drew Silverberg, Jasmine Krueger, Rebecca Bouchard, Amanda Anstine, Kristin Branson and Kristin Solodar.
“Everyone is excepting and crazy. If I’m having a bad day, Improv always turns my mood around,” Johnson said.
The team has been working with the theme of “mission improvable” for the past month. At practice members refine their skills by playing games and then getting critiques from their teammates.
“We have been working hard. The show is going to be fun because we get the audience involved and nothing’s planned,” Younis said.
Tickets are $5 and are sold at the doors before the show.
“Everyone should come because it is going to be really funny. You are going to laugh your head off,” Johnson said.
