Students spark FREED Education

In order to create chances for children in third-world countries, senior Katie Hornsby and juniors (from Parkway South) Wesley Mourton and Luke Bauer, created a for-profit business through Spark! called FREED.

Upperclassmen experience exchange

Junior Tina Tang and senior Anna Worpvik spent the last three months on foreign soil, learning about and experiencing the American culture firsthand during their exchange periods. Tang will be here for a first semester; while Worpvik will be here for the full year.

At first it felt like a lot of pressure, but once I got to know my teammates and I know how they played, I became more comfortable, Wagner said.

Although the tour was focused on their latest album Kindred, the setlist had a good balance of songs from each album.

They lined us up on risers and since I’m short I got to sit in the front, Knop said. Very nonchalantly one of the doors opened and the president walked in.
