Senior Trisha Manna worked on time management over the course of high school. By holding herself accountable and setting aside her phone, Manna slowly overcame procrastination and large workloads of homework.

“When I was a freshman, I thought the most important thing was taking all the honors I could. As a senior, I try to be more balanced in my course load and take classes that really interest me,” Manna said.

Manna grew more comfortable and confident with herself as the years progressed. Her friends and parents were there to support Manna through trying new things and standing up for herself.

“My role model has always been my mom. She’s so hardworking and has been through a lot but gets up and does what she needs to do every single day,” Manna said. “I would tell my freshman self to take the time to evaluate what really matters to her in life and just try to be more relaxed. I’d also say try new things, even if it’s scary.”
