Drawing out biogeochemical cycles in Paul Hage’s AP Environmental Science class, seniors Callie DiCarlo, Waleed Abdulla and Sarah Boland use shaving cream as a memorization tool. Abdulla says that it was easier to remember the drawings than notes or readings. “I thought the shaving cream activity was very fun because of how childish it was. It kinda brought [out] the kid in me. Creating a canvas of shaving cream wasn’t exactly on my bucket list, but I’m glad I did it,” Abdulla said. “It’s important because fun activities mix creative thinking with education.”
