Being the new kid at virtual school

We can all recall that “first day” feeling in August, an obscure mixture of excitement and nervousness. Typically, in a few days, that feeling subsides, and we fall into a routine.

Now, however, in the stretch of the third quarter, virtual students who were “new” this past August have still not come to know their classmates, community or school.
