In August, senior Grant Post will be attending Western Oregon University. Western Oregon University, located in Monmouth, Oregon, is the home of the Wolves. Post has yet to decide on a major, but is looking forward to many things.

“I’m looking forward to lacrosse, girls and partying,” Post said.

Playing lacrosse in college is what Post has been working towards throughout his high school lacrosse career. He does not know if he will be starting, but he anticipates getting playing time.

“I chose Western Oregon University specifically for lacrosse,” Post said. “They have a club team where I can basically just walk on. I’ll probably be playing either defense or LSM (Long stick midfielder).”

As seniors look toward college, finding a roommate is a necessity, but Post is considering a different route.

“I”m hoping to get a single room. Being in a new environment surrounded by a ton of people I don’t know will be fun, but I want my room to be a place that I can go to just be by myself for awhile,” Post said.

Oregon is over 2000 miles from Missouri, but Post is excited to have the opportunity to have some freedom.

“I’m looking forward to being out of high school and away from home,” Post said. “I’m ready for college.”
